SITE BEGINS WORK ON FIRST EVER WINDFARM CONTRACT

SITE, a Centurion company and integrated services contractor that delivers remote access, environmental and infrastructure construction services and maintenance across Western Canada, is commencing work on their first ever windfarm contract.

The project will see SITE provide civil equipment, service trucks and personnel to carry out essential site preparation work to assist in the construction of a large scale windfarm in Eastern Alberta, which will play a critical role in the region’s journey to an energy diverse and lower carbon future. To reduce potential environmental impact, SITE will be using cutting-edge techniques and equipment to only clear where necessary while employing environmental remediation work within the project.

Aligning with Centurion’s commitment to transforming and improving the industries we serve through innovation and collaboration, SITE was awarded this contract due to their well-earned reputation for delivering safe, efficient and sustainable solutions to infrastructure and remote access challenges.

SITE’s involvement in the project began in late September, and will be ongoing into 2022.
