RMEC RECOGNISED BY MAJOR ENERGY CUSTOMERS ON NORTH SEA PROJECT

RMEC, part of Centurion UK Rentals & Services (Centurion UKRS), has received recognition from two key customers for delivering a forward-thinking solution on a major project.

Based on their strong industry reputation and working relationships, RMEC was approached by an international energy services customer early 2022 to provide technical support along with the provision of well control equipment and field personnel for another major energy producer’s North Sea-based project.

After meticulous planning and assistance from RMEC, the job mobilised in July after several weeks of being on paid stand-by, and the operation was completed smoothly in December 2022 without any non-conformances associated with equipment or personnel. RMEC additionally mobilised equipment from fellow Centurion UKRS brand STH to deliver a package that ensures precise requirements are met.

The feedback received from both customers after job completion was extremely complimentary, focused particularly on the expertise of personnel during the System Integration Test and the offshore campaign. They also praised the support from the RMEC onshore team in dealing with changes in the well program in a timely and proactive manner, ensuring continuing operations with no downtime for the client.
