RECREATIONAL FACILITIES DELIVERED BY CENTURION FOR MINERAL RESOURCES CUSTOMER

The Mining Camps Australia (MCA) team have delivered key equipment and services for a major customer in the mineral resources sector.

The customer, one of the world’s leading gold producers, came to MCA with a request to supply a new recreational room for their current camp facilities, which is situated more than 650km from the closest urban area in a remote desert in Northern Australia.

The MCA team constructed a spacious recreational room comprised of four interconnecting portable modules. Facilities in the room included a pool table, ping pong table, online gaming facilities, a darts board, pinball machine, retro arcade machine and tea and coffee station.

Working to a short turnaround period, the MCA team were able to complete the build and install onsite just before peak average summer temperatures of 44°C hit the area. The customer, and the occupants themselves, were thrilled to have the new recreational room installed in a timely and efficient manner, which will play a major part in keeping team morale high in this remote location.
