CENTURION GROUP OPENS NEW STATE OF THE ART FACILITY IN ABU DHABI

• Expands Centurion’s presence in MENA with 50,000 square meter specialist fabrication, rental and services facility
• Facility operated by Specialist Services, a Centurion company and provider of equipment, modular buildings and packaging solutions
• Investment underscores commitment to advancing industry efficiency, reliability, and sustainability
• Significant step towards positioning UAE companies and expertise at the forefront of global supply

Centurion Group (“Centurion” or “the Group”), a global leader in the supply of specialist rental equipment and services to critical industries, announces the opening of a new state-of-the-art 50,000 square meter waterfront fabrication, rental and services facility in Abu Dhabi. The facility is operated by Specialist Services, part of Centurion Middle East and North Africa, and will increase the Group’s capacity in the UAE by 40%.

The multi-million dollar investment demonstrates Centurion’s continued strategic expansion in the Middle East, both as a key growth market and supporting the UAE’s ‘Make it in the Emirates’ initiative to establish the country as a global manufacturer.

The launch of the facility is also a significant milestone in the diversification and expansion of Centurion’s portfolio, adding to the scale and expertise of the Group’s operations. Featuring an extensive 25,000-tonne waterfront load-out capacity, the facility offers open and covered fabrication spaces, ample storage facilities, and a modern office complex. The comprehensive range of operations housed within the facility includes design, engineering, and fabrication of modular buildings and rig refurbishment, as well as a diverse range of support services. Strategically located in Mussafah, a thriving industrial hub, it ensures streamlined access to key transportation routes, enabling efficient logistics and the smooth distribution of goods and services.

Centurion acquired Specialist Services in 2021 as part of the Group’s ongoing drive to expand its global footprint and services it offers to clients. Following the acquisition of Specialist Services, Centurion has completed a further 10 acquisitions, including five in 2023, continually investing in each of these businesses to support their growth and help them reach their full operational potential. These strategic acquisitions have significantly enhanced Centurion’s presence in structural growth markets and the industries served by the Group’s operations.
