CENTURION PROVIDES RELIABLE WATER TREATMENT SOLUTION FOR REMOTE COMMUNITY IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Centurion’s Water & Wastewater Solutions business line in Australia recently supported Karratha City Council in upgrading the airport’s wastewater treatment plant – helping the region recycle water for use in gardens, toilets, and other non-drinking purposes.
Located in the dry and remote Pilbara region of Western Australia, the project plays a key role in reducing pressure on freshwater supplies while improving the site’s long-term sustainability.
As part of the project, Centurion delivered a comprehensive handover, providing an on-site walkthrough, operator training, and a detailed handover pack to support day-to-day operations. Ongoing access to technical support, maintenance, and spare parts was also established to ensure the system continues to perform reliably over time.
Following the handover, Karratha City Council shared:
“Both the Field Service Manager and Service Engineer demonstrated exceptional technical expertise and delivered thorough, hands-on training that empowered our onsite operators to confidently manage the system from day one. The comprehensive handover pack has proven to be an invaluable resource. The team's clear and consistent communication throughout the process has instilled strong confidence in the quality of ongoing support we can expect moving forward.”
