ATR WORKS FASTER, SMARTER AND GREENER ON KEY INSPECTION FOR CUSTOMER

ATR – part of Centurion UK Rentals & Services (Centurion UKRS) recently delivered a critical inspection in just three hours for a key North Sea Operator customer using innovative technology.

Following on from a previous successful inspection earlier this year, the customer contacted ATR with an urgent request for an inspection to prevent a near-inevitable platform shutdown.

ATR’s experienced inspections team and technical authority deemed the job to be suitable for a High Definition Remote Visual Inspection service using Librestream’s Real Wear HMT-1, using state-of-the-art, zone-rated hands-free technology.

Within a matter of hours, of first receiving the request, the ATR team successfully completed a fully remote Report of Thorough Examination (RoTE) of vital platform equipment and supplied the customer copies of the documents. ATR successfully delivered this service on-time while limiting emissions, eliminating risk to worker safety and without impacting the client’s operations.
