Osprey3 has delivered a custom designed and manufactured filter cartridge to meet a Holland-based customer’s challenges through innovation and collaboration.

The customer – one of the largest Dutch gas producers operating in the North Sea – encountered challenges stemming from their original filter’s material, which caused the filter to deform and collapse leading to costly downtime and delays in operation.

Osprey3 rose to the challenge by working alongside the customer to identify the cause of the issue, and proposed an innovative use of stainless steel, nylon and high temperature adhesive to reinforce the stability of the filter and prevent any potential damage.

Osprey3 met the customer’s unique challenge with an innovative and bespoke solution that ensured efficiency, quality and customer care were at the forefront. The newly designed filter is functioning above and beyond customer expectations in supporting their operations with efficiency and efficacy, and is now being used on two North Sea platforms in offshore Netherlands.
