Centurion Completes Work on Offshore Windfarm Contract

Seanic, a Centurion company that provides critical subsea engineering services to the global offshore energy, renewables and marine industries, has completed work on an offshore windfarm in the UK.

The contract saw Seanic supply a range of specialised engineered equipment for the support in the construction of the Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) Offshore Wind Farm, a major sustainable energy development located in the North Sea, off the Fife Coast, Scotland, covering an area of 105km2. The farm will consist of 54 8MW wind turbines, with the capability to provide around 375,000 homes with green power.

As part of this project, Seanic combined strengths with fellow Centurion company STH who provided additional industry-leading hydraulic equipment. With a short delivery time, the Seanic and STH teams worked together to deliver the equipment in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner, minimising all delays in quoting for the scope and ensuring that delivery comfortably suited the customer’s requirements.
