SITE Resource Group, a Centurion company, has been awarded major contracts in two of the biggest North American pipeline projects; Enbridge Line 3 and Trans Mountain.
ALBERTA, CANADA, September 2020 – Centurion Group (“Centurion”), a global leader in the supply of critical services to the oil & gas, infrastructure, power, environmental and renewable energy industries, is pleased to announce that SITE Resource Group (SRG), part of its Infrastructure (INF) segment, has been awarded major contracts in two of the biggest North American pipeline projects; Enbridge Line 3 and Trans Mountain. These recent awards represent a significant milestone for the company as it strengthens its environmental and infrastructure project management services. Centurion Group is committed to protecting environmental ecosystems while delivering complex projects and enhancing their customers’ performance through continuous improvement in safety, quality and execution.
Centurion-SRG began working on the Enbridge Line 3 in 2015. The project scopes have been extensive and included the Regina By-Pass Integrity Project, ecosystem restoration, fencing and maintenance work. SRG also completed work on the construction of three pump stations, including earthworks, concrete and screw and driven pile installation. SRG was recently awarded further scopes of work including ROW reclamation and vegetation control.
In addition, Centurion-SRG was awarded significant reclamation work on spread 1 on the Trans Mountain pipeline earlier this year. SRG’s environmental capabilities have helped ensure that construction has limited effect on the natural environment. The scope of work also includes screw and driven piling, and sheet and king piles installation.
Roger Didychuk, senior vice president, SITE Resource Group said: “It is a testament to SRG’s capabilities as a fully integrated services company that we have been contracted on three major pipeline projects. Our proven performance in the field and commitment to the highest environmental standards and health and safety will help us deliver for Alberta’s future.”
Trevor Hittel, General Manager, SITE Resource Group said: “It has been a pleasure to lead SRG’s work on these pipeline projects. Working alongside partners and regional governments SRG and the team are committed to delivering to an exceptional standard.”
