CENTURION WINS MULTIMILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT

Virtual project kick-off meeting held this week in US with attendees including over 2 dozen oil company experts, US Department of Energy (DOE) and the US Department of Interior, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE).

Seanic, a Centurion company that provides critical subsea engineering services to the global offshore industry, has been awarded a major contract.

The 18-month high-tech project will include Seanic’s execution of detail design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and onshore testing of a state-of-the-art subsea chemical injection system for Subsea Shuttle, LLC. This project builds on earlier successful efforts with the firm’s principals.

Subsea Shuttle’s CEO Art Schroeder said, “We have obviously been pleased with Seanic’s previous work and look forward to fabrication and onshore testing of our full scale unit. Seanic’s staff and their management team continue to apply their Simple, Rugged and Reliable motto to their work with us. Working together, and with our other partners, we look forward to a successful System Integration Test (SIT) in Seanic’s world-class test tank, and then an offshore demonstration with our oil company client. This innovative technology has the capability of safely reducing costs and enabling long distance subsea tie-backs, while protecting the subsea environment with our patented dual barrier isolation system.”

President Andy Guinn, said: “Seanic is delighted to have been awarded this fantastic contract. This is a very unique opportunity, allowing us to further diversify our exceptional product offering and provide our technical expertise to a very reputable client.

“It is encouraging to see that despite the challenging climate currently facing the energy sector, we remain the first choice for many to fulfill subsea requirements. We look forward to beginning work on this project in the coming months.”
